This Standard is used for EG-inspection tested domestic cooking appliances burning gas according to EN 30-1-1, EN 30-1-2, EN 30-1-3 and EN 30-1-4. It contains requirements and testing the fitness for purpose requirements of hobs, ovens and grills. The definitions apply to all these devices or components, independently of the fact whether they are alone used or are built into a combination, even if parts of this combination are not operated with gaseous fuels (e. g. combined gas electric cookers).
This standard specifies the construction and performance characteristics as well as the requirements and methods of test for the safety and marking of domestic cooking appliances, capable of using the combustible gases defined in EN 30-1-1:1998 and EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999, having one or more enclosed covered burners under a glass ceramic panel, referred to in the text as \"appliances\".This standard is intended to be used in conjuntion with EN 30-1-1:1998 and EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999 or EN 30-1-4:2002, and, where appropriate, EN 30-2-1:1999.It does not cover all of the safety requirements and methods of test that are specific to forced convection ovens and/or grills.Unless excluded specifically hereafter, this standard covers appliances or their components, whether or not the component parts are independent or incorporated into a single appliance, even if the other heating components of the appliance use electrical energy (e.g. gas-electric-cookers).This standard includs requirements covering the electrical safety of equipment incorporated in the appliance that is assosiated with gas. It does not include requirements covering the electrical safety of electricallly-heated component parts of their associated equipment 1).This Standard does not apply to:- outdoor appliances;- appliances connected to a combustion products evacuation duct;- appliances having a pyrolytic gas oven;- appliances having automatic burner control systems that have a second safety time, or control one or more burners that incorporate a separate ignition burner;- appliances having an uncovered burner or a non-enclosed covered burner;- appliances equipped with air-gas ratio controls;- appliances with more than one fan for the supply of combustion air and/or for the evacuation of products of combustion from a combustion chamber;- appliances supplied at pressures greater than those difined in 7.1.2.This standard does not cover the requirements relating to third family gas cylinders, their regulators and their connection. This standard only covers type testing.
This European Standard specifies the construction and performance characteristics as well as the requirements and methods of test for the safety and marking of domestic cooking appliances, capable of using the combustrble gases defined in EN 30-1-1-2008+A2-2010.that have one or more burners with an automatic burner control system, referred to in the text as\"appliances\".
This standard specifies the constructional and performance characteristics, safety specifications, relevant test methods and marking of barbecues burning liquefied petroleum gas, referred to in the body of the text as \"appliances\". This standard covers barbecues as defined in 3.6 and contact grills as defined in 3.8, used outdoors and operating with the gases indicated in 4.1 according to the categories indicated in 4.2. They are fitted with at least one cooking device. This standard applies to these appliances and their functional sections whether or not the latter are independent or incorporated into an assembly. This standard also applies to appliances designed to be built-in. This standard only applies to type testing. Appliances supplied with third family gas at pressures greater those defined in 4.2 are outside the field of application of this standard.
This standard defines the requirements for the construction and operating methods, the operation tests, as well as for the production, labelling and the instruction manuals of decorative fireplaces/appliances producing a flame using liquid or gelatinous alcohol based fuels for domestic use. This draft standard applies to free-standing, wall-mounted and built-in appliances with a maximum power output of 4,5 kW.
This Malaysian Standard specifies the general test methods for general indoor domestic gas cooking appliances using liquefied petroleum gases. The specific test methods are covered by MS 1535 : Part 1 : 2002. NOTE. MS 158 :1998 prescribes the specification for liquefied petroleum gases.
This Malaysian Standard defines glossary of terms used in the series of Malaysian Standards on domestic gas cooking appliances, MS 1535 : 2002.
