本部分規(guī)定了礦物的成因、形態(tài)、物理性質(zhì)(側(cè)重肉眼鑒定方面)、化學(xué)成分、礦物分類和名稱及晶體發(fā)生學(xué)、幾何結(jié)晶學(xué)等結(jié)晶學(xué)及礦物學(xué)方面的數(shù)據(jù)分類與代碼。本部分適用于各類地質(zhì)礦產(chǎn)信息系統(tǒng)建設(shè),是確定數(shù)據(jù)庫標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體系和數(shù)據(jù)字典,制定各類地質(zhì)數(shù)據(jù)文件格式標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的基礎(chǔ)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)定了礦產(chǎn)資源分類、地質(zhì)工作階段劃分、固體礦產(chǎn)普查勘探方法、勘探類型、取樣種類和方法、儲(chǔ)量計(jì)算、礦石類型、地質(zhì)編錄、礦產(chǎn)工業(yè)要求等固體礦產(chǎn)普查與勘探方面的數(shù)據(jù)分類代碼。本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于各類地質(zhì)礦產(chǎn)信息系統(tǒng)建設(shè),是確定數(shù)據(jù)庫標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體系和數(shù)據(jù)字典,制定各類地質(zhì)數(shù)據(jù)文件格式標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的基礎(chǔ)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
