This document specifies the performance requirements for rigid or flexible metal flue liners, rigid metal connecting flue pipes and their fittings used to convey the products of combustion from appliances to the outside atmosphere (including their supports). Vitreous enamelled connecting flue pipes are also covered byThis document. Rigid flue liners can be used as flue liners for renovation or adaptation of existing chimneys and as flue liners of custom built chimneys. Flexible metal flue liners described inThis document are exclusively for renovation or adaptation of existing chimneys. Flexible connecting flue pipes and extensible flexible products designed to be compressed or extended along their length are excluded from the scope of this document. This document also specifies the requirements for marking, manufacturer's instructions, product information and evaluation of conformity. Single wall and multi-wall system chimney products are covered by EN 1856-1.
This European Standard applies to cold rolled non-coated low carbon steel flat products in rolled widths equal to or over 600 mm and in thicknesses equal to or less than 3 mm, delivered in sheet, wide strip, slit wide strip or cut lengths obtained from slit wide strip or sheet.
The standard applies to cold rolled strip and sheet of general structural steels for thicknesses up to and including 3 mm. The standard covers the requirements on the chemical composition, the mechanical properties and the surface conditions of the steels as well as all specifications concerning the testing of the products.
This standard specifies modified Rockwell method Bm and Fm for thin sheets. The modified Rockwell method Bm and Fm apply if the samples are that thin that a visible deformation occurs on the bearing surface of the sample when using the Rockwell method B and F according to DIN EN ISO 6508-1. It is recommended to limit the application of the modified Rockwell method Bm and Fm on thin sheet according to the following thickness ranges: - Modified method according to Rockwell Bm: product thickness s > 1,1 mm - Modified method according to Rockwell Fm: product thickness 1,1 mm ≥ s > 0,6 mm The hardness test according to the modified Rockwell method Bm and Fm is applicable for thin sheet of steel whose hardness is within the following ranges: - Modified method according to Rockwell Bm: 50 HRBm to 100 HRBm - Modified method according to Rockwell Fm: 60 HRFm to 115 HRFm.
This European Standard applies to cold rolled uncoated low carbon steel flat products in rolled widths equal to or over 600 mm for cold forming, with a minimum thickness of 0,35 mm and, unless otherwise agreed at the time of inquiry and order, equal to or less than 3 mm, delivered in sheet, coil, slit coil, or cut lengths obtained from slit coil or sheet. It does not apply to cold rolled narrow strip (rolling width < 600 mm) nor to flat cold rolled products for which there is a specific standard, in particular the following:- cold rolled non-grain oriented magnetic steel sheet and strip (EN 10106);- semi-processed steel strip for the construction of magnetic circuits (EN 10126 and EN 10165);- blackplate in coils (EN 10205);- cold rolled flat products in high yield strength steels for cold forming (EN 10268);- cold rolled uncoated non-alloy mild steel narrow strip for cold forming (EN 10139);- cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for vitreous enamelling (EN 10209).
The project applies to cold rolled uncoated and electrolytically zinc (EN 10152) or zinc-nickel coated (EN 10271) low carbon and high yield strength steel flat products for cold forming with a minimum thickness of 0,35 mm and, unless otherwise agreed at the time of ordering, less than or equal to 3 mm thick, delivered in sheet, wide strip, slit wide strip or cut lengths obtained form slit wide strip or sheet.

The concerned standards are EN 10130, EN 10152, EN10271, EN 10209, EN 10268 prEN 10336 and prEN 10338.It does not apply to cold rolled strip (rolled width < 600 mm) or to flat cold rolled products for which there is aspecific standard, in particular the following:- cold rolled non-grain oriented magnetic steel sheet and strip (EN 10106);- cold rolled electrical non-alloy and alloy steel sheet and strip delivered in the semi-processed state (EN10341);- tinplate and ECCS (EN 10202);- blackplate in coils (EN 10205);- cold rolled uncoated non-alloy mild steel narrow strip for cold forming (EN 10139).
This International Standard specifies the requirements for enamel-coated, plane, cold-rolled, heavy- and lightgaugesteel panels intended for interior and exterior architectural use.It includes the functional and aesthetic characteristics and resistance to graffiti of these panels and the relatedcoatings.
